KIC Edinburgh has been recently refurbished to the highest standards: extended student room space, an in-school sandwich bar, Interactive whiteboards in every classroom and wheelchair access. Our recent expansion (2012) provides ample space to study and relax. It’s a 21st century interior with a 19th century exterior. In addition, we have installed excellent wi-fi throughout the 2 buildings.
Situated in a UNESCO world Heritage location, the college is at the heart of the City Centre, with easy access to the highlands at weekends. Glasgow is 1 hour by train and Loch Ness can be visited in a day.
We have many courses as well as general English, such as IELTS preparation, Business English and the festival course throughout August. Classes are Monday to Friday and students chose the intensity of their course, dependining on their needs. As well as classes we have a study centre with 22 PCs, a library and a teacher on hand to help throughout the day.
A full time member of staff plans a varied and fun social programme, ensuring that there is something to suit all tastes. In the summer we run a Junior Centre for students aged 14 and above. Central residential accommodation and classes are within walking distance of Edinburgh’s tourist attractions.
